It was a beautiful, sunny day. After taking the train to Palezieux I rode up to Les Paccots to start the second leg of a trip begun in May. On that daywe rode from Bulle to Les Paccots on a mountain bike track. There was still some snow so it turned into a hike-and-bike adventure to remember. Today’s ride would take me to Montreux across beautiful pastures and over one col.

I ended up hiking up to the col because the bike path could hardly be seen. Once there, I found gnarly and smooth gravel and amazing views. Just before a final steep descent to my destination I could enjoyed this beautiful view.

Cycling in Switzerland can be quite amazing.
