When I was growing up music was played on cassettes or vinyl records. In my teenage years this was replaced by CDs which have now been left behind by streaming services. The once record collection, once tangible, now resides in the cloud, accessible through an application which can change appearance at the whim of designers, likely employed by Apple or Spotify.
Designer Jon Hicks has come up with a clever solution for those who miss the tangibility. It’s a smart one.
